Rebecca Jayne is a UK-based singer-songwriter whose music seamlessly blends country, Americana, and pop influences. A self-taught musician, she plays guitar, piano, banjo, and lends her emotive vocals to her original compositions. Her songwriting is deeply personal and introspective, often drawing from her own experiences. Rebecca's sound has been compared to the likes of Eva Cassidy, Kacey Musgraves, and Joni Mitchell, reflecting her ability to infuse classic styles with contemporary flair.
Her musical journey began at the age of 10, and by 14, she was performing live. Rebecca's debut EP, Rebecca Jayne (2016), charted in the Top 100 iTunes Singles and Top 40 iTunes Albums. Her follow-up EP, Things I’ve Done (2018), produced by Luke Batt, reached the Top 10 on the Apple Music Country charts and received airplay on UK and US radio stations, including BBC Introducing.
Rebecca's live performances have graced notable venues such as The Bluebird Café and Tootsies in Nashville, as well as festivals like CarFest and South Hill Park Festival, where she supported The Shires. Her single “Crazy Life” (2022) showcases her signature blend of acoustic instrumentation and heartfelt storytelling, recorded with BBC Radio 2 DJ Bob Harris and his son Miles Myerscough-Harris at their Under The Apple Tree studio.
